amsterdam, The protest against the tearing of the Quran by the leader of an anti-Islamic organization in front of the country’s parliament on January 22 in The Hague, Netherlands, is increasing. Along with all the big Muslim countries, the Organization of Islamic countries (OIC) has also expressed its objection on this matter.
Describing the act of tearing the Quran as Islamophobia, these countries have lodged their protest with the Dutch Foreign Ministry. According to the report, Edwin Wagensveld, leader of the German anti-Islam group Pegida, tore the Quran, the holy book of Muslims, outside the Dutch Parliament. On Twitter, Edwin Wagensveld shared a video of his provocative act which took place in front of the Parliament House in The Hague. Edwin Wagensveld has not yet been arrested in this case.
