According to the Cenon Indonesia report, when the family members of the woman lodged a complaint with the police station, the police started searching. According to the BBC report, after registering the complaint, the police search party went out to search for the woman and saw that the stomach of a python was bloated. Locals feared that the python had swallowed a human. After this, the python was killed and its stomach was torn. Everyone was surprised to see the sight inside the stomach of the dragon. Actually, the python had swallowed the woman who went missing.

Betara Jambi police chief AKP S Harefa told local media that the woman was found in the snake’s stomach and that the body was in a fairly good condition when they saw it. The video of the incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media. People are surprised by commenting on the video that a dragon swallowed a woman and people did not even know about it. Although such incidents are rare, this is not the first time someone has been killed and eaten by a python in Indonesia. In 2018, the body of a 54-year-old woman was found inside a 7-metre-long python.
