Moscow. Russia has accused Britain of ‘participation’ in Ukraine’s attempt to strike a drone on Crimea. Russia’s defense ministry alleged that UK experts trained Ukraine’s failed attack and helped oversee the attack. However, Britain has not yet responded to these allegations. Russia also alleged that representatives of the British Navy were involved in planning and carrying out attacks in the Baltic Sea to blow up the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines on 26 September.

Ukraine targets Crimea
Sevastopol in Crimea has been targeted by Ukraine several times in recent months. It serves as the headquarters of Russia’s maritime fleet and a logistics hub for operations in Ukraine. Russia said the ships that were targeted at its Crimea base were involved in enforcing a UN-mediated agreement to allow Ukraine’s grain exports to continue. While Russia recently criticized the deal, saying that its own grain exports have suffered due to Western sanctions.
