Moscow. Russia has accused Britain of ‘participation’ in Ukraine’s attempt to strike a drone on Crimea. Russia’s defense ministry alleged that UK experts trained Ukraine’s failed attack and helped oversee the attack. Russia’s defense ministry said in a statement that the Kyiv regime carried out a terroristic attack against Black Sea Fleet ships and civilian ships that were located outside and inside the Sevastopol base. 9 aerial drones and 7 maritime drones were involved in this attack.
According to a news agency AFP news, a statement by the Ministry of Defense of Russia said that the training of military personnel to prepare for this terrorist act was carried out under the supervision of British experts. However, Britain has not yet responded to these allegations. Russia also alleged that representatives of the British Navy were involved in planning and carrying out attacks in the Baltic Sea to blow up the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines on 26 September.
Ukraine targets Crimea
Sevastopol in Crimea has been targeted by Ukraine several times in recent months. It serves as the headquarters of Russia’s maritime fleet and a logistics hub for operations in Ukraine. Russia said the ships that were targeted at its Crimea base were involved in enforcing a UN-mediated agreement to allow Ukraine’s grain exports to continue. While Russia recently criticized the deal, saying that its own grain exports have suffered due to Western sanctions.

Russia withdraws from grain export agreement
Alleging drone strikes in Crimea, Russia halted its participation in a historic agreement that allowed grain exports from Ukraine. In response to Russia’s allegation, Ukraine said that Russia is making excuses to close the grain export corridor. Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba tweeted that we have warned about Russia’s plans to sabotage the Black Sea grain export initiative. Now Moscow is using a false pretext to shut down the grain export corridor.
