EU Parliament declared Russia a terrorist state
Taking a historic step, the European Union Parliament on Wednesday declared Russia a ‘state sponsoring terrorism’. European MPs voted in favor of a resolution declaring Russia a state sponsor of terrorism. However, this EU move is largely symbolic, as the EU does not have a legal framework to support it. The union has already imposed unprecedented sanctions on Russia over its invasion of Ukraine.
