Turkey Syria Earthquake: A 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck Turkey’s southern province and northern Syria on Monday, killing six people and injuring nearly 300 others. Recent tremors were centered near the southern Turkish city of Antakya and were felt in Syria, Egypt and Lebanon. A few days before the earthquake on Monday, a devastating earthquake of magnitude 7.4 caused devastation in Turkey-Syria. Including both the countries, more than 45 thousand people had died. Turkey’s Hatay province was the most affected.
