According to the Russian news agency TASS, Russian MP Pavel Antonov has been found dead in a hotel in India (Rayagada Hotel). He had gone for a holiday in the Raigad region of Odisha, India and was celebrating his 65th birthday. According to the Odisha Police, he had allegedly fallen from the third floor window of the hotel and was found dead. The surprising thing is that this is the second death of a Russian tourist in the same hotel in Odisha within a week, after which many questions are being raised.

According to ANI, Superintendent of Police Vivekanand Sharma, who is probing the Russian MP’s death case, says that with the permission of his family, the authorities cremated the body on Monday. Pavel Antonov was found dead on Sunday, 25 December.
