Putin ready for talks with Ukraine after 316 days of war put this condition in front of Zelensky

Moscow. The impasse in the Russia-Ukraine war seems to be coming to an end. While Russian President Putin has announced a two-day ceasefire. On the other hand, the way has been opened for talks with Ukraine. However, Putin has also placed a condition that talks with Ukraine will take place only when it is agreed upon that Russia has occupied the districts of Ukraine, then talks can take place between the two countries.

Let us tell you that at the end of September, Russia had merged four areas of Ukraine into Russia. However, after about 10 months of the war, half of those areas have come out of the hands of Russia. Giving information, the Kremlin said that President Vladimir Putin told Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan that he is ready for talks with Ukraine if Kyiv accepts as Russia the territories occupied by Moscow.

The Kremlin said in a statement that Putin has once again made it clear that Russia is serious about talks. However, it is a condition that the reality of new areas has to be accepted. Giving information earlier, Turkey’s Presidential Office had said that President Erdogan had called for peace talks in a phone call with Putin.

Please tell that Russian troops have occupied a large part of eastern and southern Ukraine. The Kremlin claims it has annexed the Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions, although it does not fully control them. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday ordered a 36-hour ceasefire for Moscow’s armed forces in Ukraine this weekend for the Russian Orthodox Christmas holiday.
