Turkey-Syria Earthquake: On February 6, a massive earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale occurred in Turkey and Syria. The earthquake caused great destruction here. There was a lot of loss of life and property in both the countries. Till now the news of death of more than 8000 people has come to the fore. Thousands of people are still buried under the debris. The security forces are continuously doing relief and rescue work here.
