P. Bhadreshdas Swami ji of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha represented at R20 religious forum

New Delhi. Mahamahopadhyay Bhadreshdas Swami ji of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha addressed as a prominent speaker of Hinduism at R20 Dharma Manch organized in Bali, Indonesia. More than 400 delegates attended the occasion. Significantly, R20 is a global initiative to bring together religious leaders from G20 member countries. Indonesia’s President Joko Widodo addressed the inaugural session of the conference.

Tirthaswaroop Swami ji of BAPS told that Bhadreshdas Swami ji is one of the leading philosophers of India. He gave a message of religious harmony by paying tribute at the birth centenary celebrations of Pramukh Swamiji Maharaj. He told that in 2023, the R20 conference will be held in New Delhi.

Bhadreshdas Swamiji in his address encouraged a universal definition of ‘Dharma’, drawing upon the universal timeless wisdom of the Vedas, Upanishads, Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, Bhagwan Swaminarayan and the great schools of Indian thought. Also described values ​​like peace, love, friendship, respect and compassion. On this occasion Swami Govind Dev Giri Maharaj, Treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust and Swami Mitranand Saraswati, Director of All India Chinmaya Yuva Kendra, threw light on Sanatan Hinduism.

Dr Timothy Samuel Shah, one of the principal organizers of the conference and distinguished research scholar in politics at the University of Dallas (USA), in an interview, thanked Bhadreshdas Swamiji for imparting knowledge on ancient philosophy and religious tradition through the G20 religious forum. . Kyai Haji Yahya Cholil Stockaf, the president of the world’s largest Muslim organization, thanked Bhadreshdas Swami and other Hindu saints of India for attending the summit.
