According to a report by the news agency AFP, North Korea has successfully tested long-range strategic cruise missiles. While continuing nuclear weapons tests have increased tensions on the Korean island, it has also increased fears that Pyongyang may conduct its first nuclear test since 2017.

Giving information about the testing, the Korean Central News Agency said that Kim personally oversaw the testing of the missiles on Wednesday. According to local media, this missile has fallen about 2,000 km through the sea. It was further stated that the projectile had hit its intended targets, but further details on the target were not shared.

In the past, the United States, Britain, France, Albania, Norway and Ireland called an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council after North Korea’s aggressive attitude. At the same time, the Foreign Ministry of North Korea has also expressed its displeasure over the joint exercise of South Korea and America in a statement.
