Kabul. Afghanistan’s terrorist organization Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) claims that their Bamber Abdul Haq Khurasani has avenged the death of his comrades in Nangarhar. The organization has warned that such suicide attacks will continue. The governor of Balkh was killed in a suicide attack on Thursday evening.

A video related to the assassination of Balkh Governor Mohammad Dawood Muzammil has also been released. In this video, the attacker is seen going to the governor’s office and he is waiting for the governor to come there and attack him. ISKP claims that Abdul Haq Khurasani waited till the governor came there. And as soon as he arrived, he made a suicide attack and blew up the governor.

Taliban General Intelligence released a video last week showing how senior ISKP commander Qari Fateh was killed along with his associates in the Nangarhar area. Kari Fateh used to strategize for ISKP and was said to be the brain behind the attack on Chinese hotels and embassies. Immediately after Qari Fateh’s death, the ISKP threatened the Taliban with dire consequences.

The terrorist organization ISKP is also angry because the Taliban have continuously attacked ISKP in Nangarhar province and killed many of its top terrorist leaders. This area is considered an ISKP stronghold and immediately after the capture, Taliban fighters could not even dare to enter this area.

Let us inform that the ruling Taliban in Afghanistan had also taken major action on the Islamic State Khorasan province in the past. The Taliban killed ISKP’s Minister of War and Military Chief Qari Fateh. Qori Fateh was listed by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) monitoring group as the military chief of the ISKP in May 2022. Fateh used to make strategy for ISKP. He had recently conspired to attack the Embassy of Russia, Pakistan and China in Kabul. Qari Tufail alias Fateh was the commander of the eastern sector during ISKP control in Nangarhar. Recently, the team had changed its strategy and made Kari Fateh the chief of the intelligence department.

But the Governor of Balkh Mohammad Dawood Muzamil adopted many strategies and due to these strategies ISKP fighters were killed in Nangarhar. Since then, many senior Taliban officials and leaders, including the governor of Balkh, have been on the target of the ISKP. It is believed that ISKP will carry out many more big attacks in the coming days.
