Melbourne. Hindu temples located in Australia are constantly being targeted. A Hindu temple has been vandalized for the third time this month in the city of Melbourne, Australia. This time the attack has been done on the ISKCON temple located in Albert Park, Melbourne. The frescoes inside the ISKCON temple were defaced with anti-India slogans. Along with vandalizing the temple on Monday morning, anti-India slogans have been written on its wall and slogans of “Khalistan Zindabad” have also been raised.

According to the report of The Australia Today, another Hindu temple has been vandalized in Australia allegedly by Khalistani supporters. Slogans with hate-filled words against Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been written on the wall of the temple. The surprising thing is that during the last two weeks, this is the third incident targeting Hindu temples in Australia. Hindu temples are constantly being targeted. Anti-India slogans like ‘Hindustan Murdabad’, ‘Khalistan Zindabad’ have been raised on the walls of the temple.

Not only this, Khalistan supporters have also written praise of Bhindranwala, a terrorist responsible for killing more than 20 thousand Hindus and Sikhs. Khalistan supporters have termed Bhindranwala as a ‘martyr’. If we look at such incidents, earlier also such slogans were written on the walls of the temples.

According to a report in The Australia Today, the wall of the ISKCON temple, a famous center of the Bhakti Yoga movement, was defaced with “Khalistan Zindabad” graffiti in Melbourne.

It has been said in the report that the temple authorities have expressed surprise and displeasure over the vandalism and damage done at the place of worship. An emergency meeting was held two days ago with the Victorian Multicultural Commission regarding the incidents of frequent attacks. After this vandalism has been introduced again by Victorian multifaith leaders. On January 12, the Swaminarayan Temple in Melbourne was vandalized with similar anti-India slogans. But after 5 days, when the devotees reached Carrom Downs to celebrate Pongal festival, the Shri Shiv Vishnu temple was found defaced.
