New Delhi. National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval participated in a security dialogue on Afghanistan in Moscow, which also discussed the changing regional security parameters. During this, NSA Ajit Doval gave a direct message without naming Pakistan. He clearly said that no country should be allowed to use the land of Afghanistan for terror. Along with this, he said that India will never leave the people of Afghanistan in times of need.

In the fifth regional discussion on Afghanistan in Moscow, NSA Ajit Doval said, ‘No country should be allowed to use Afghan land to promote terrorism and separatism.’ He said that the natural resources of Afghanistan should first be used for the welfare of the Afghan people.

Ajit Doval said that Afghanistan is passing through a difficult phase and India has historical and special relations with Afghanistan. He said that the well-being and humanitarian needs of the people of Afghanistan is India’s top priority and New Delhi will never leave the people of Afghanistan alone in their time of need.

He said that terrorism has become a big threat in this region. There is a need to increase intelligence and security cooperation between the countries concerned and their agencies in dealing with terrorist organizations such as the Islamic State and Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Please tell that Ajit Doval started a two-day visit to Russia on Wednesday. During this, apart from the host country and India, top security officials from Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan participated in the fifth multilateral meeting of the Secretaries of the Security Council on Afghanistan. Sources said that various issues including the security situation in Afghanistan and the humanitarian challenges facing it were discussed in the meeting. (with language input)
