Perth. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida warned on Saturday that Russia’s use of nuclear weapons against Ukraine would be seen as a crime against humanity. He described Russian President Vladimir Putin’s threat to use nuclear weapons as “very disturbing”. Kishida said Russia’s actions to threaten the use of nuclear weapons pose a serious threat to the peace and security of the international community and are completely unacceptable.

According to a news agency AFP news, speaking in Australia, Japan’s PM Fumio Kishida said that 77 years of non-use of nuclear weapons should not end. He said that if nuclear weapons were ever used, it would be a hostile action against humanity… the international community would never allow such an act.

Russia invaded Ukraine in February. Since then Russian President Putin has made several indirect threats about his desire to strategically deploy nuclear weapons. Russian President Vladimir Putin has said several times in the Ukraine war that has been going on for more than seven months that he will use all available means to defend Russia.
