Astana (Kazakhstan). When the Prime Minister of Pakistan raised the Kashmir issue at the Conference on Interaction and Conference Building Measures in Asia Summit (CICA Summit) in Astana, Kazakhstan, Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi reacted strongly. He said that Islamabad has misused the CICA platform for its false and malicious propaganda against India. The neighboring country should organize its own house instead of giving lectures to the global community. It is unfortunate that Pakistan has once again spread malicious propaganda against my country and has tried to divert attention from the theme and focus of today’s discussions.
In Astana, Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi addressed the 6th Summit on Dialogue and Confidence Building Measures (CICA) in Asia. Lekhi said that India wants normal relations with all its neighbours, including Pakistan. “Pakistan is advised to do what it says by creating a conducive environment, which includes taking credible, verifiable and irreversible action, so that in any way it can be used against India under its control for cross-border terrorism,” he said. No area can be used.
Pakistan remains a global epicenter of terrorism
Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi said that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have been and will be an integral part of India. Pakistan has no right to comment about the internal affairs of India. Today’s remarks by Pakistan are gross interference in India’s internal affairs, sovereignty and territorial integrity matters. Underlining that Lekhi said that Pakistan continues to be a global epicenter of terrorism, it should stop the ongoing cross-border terrorism against India. Pakistan is not investing in human development, but makes available its resources to build and maintain terrorism infrastructure.
Evacuate Indian territories which are under its illegal and forcible occupation
He said it would be good to prevent serious and persistent human rights violations in Pakistan-occupied Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh (POJKL). He should refrain from making any further significant changes in the status of POJKL and vacate the Indian territories which are under his illegal and forcible occupation. Several world leaders including Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif participated in the summit.
