Afghanistan Blast: Explosion outside military airport in Kabul, many feared dead

Kabul. Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, was shaken by a bomb blast on Sunday. There is news of death of many people in this blast. Whereas, hundreds of people got injured. The blast took place at the entrance of Afghanistan’s military airport. Abdul Nafi Takor, spokesman of the country’s interior ministry, said that the place where the blast took place is Kabul’s international airport. The reason for this blast is not clear at the moment.

Takor said that many people of our country died in this blast and a large number of people were injured. The investigating officers are probing the blast. Let me tell you, in the month of August 2021, the Taliban had unexpectedly captured power. Since then Taliban officials have been claiming that the country’s security has been increased. But, since the coming of the new government, there have been many blasts and attacks in the country. The responsibility of these attacks and blasts has been taken by the members of the Islamic State Group (IS).

Chinese citizens were injured last month
Only last month, an attacker opened fire indiscriminately at a famous hotel in Kabul. 5 Chinese citizens were injured in this attack. The hotel in which the attack took place is liked by Chinese businessmen and they hold their meetings there. The responsibility of this attack was also taken by IS. Hundreds of people, including Afghanistan’s minorities, have died in attacks since the Taliban returned to power.
